About Our Races

Tommy Compton Memorial Run

This is a 2K distance, fun run for kids ages 5-12 years old.  It is an out-and-back course along Kingston’s waterfront path, beginning and ending at MacDonald Park.

Tom Compton was an active runner and biker who worked in the elementary education system.  His focus was to help students achieve their goals, not only in the classroom, but also in sports and physical activities.  We are proud to host this event, with the support of his family, in his honour.

Waterfront 10K

This is an out-and-back along Kingston’s waterfront beginning and ending at Macdonald Park.

Historic Half Marathon and 5K

Over the course of these two events, participants pass along many of Kingston’s Historic sites while also taking in the natural beauty of the city’s incredible waterfront on Lake Ontario. This is the same course as 2022. The Historic Half and 5K are both out-and-backs.

Aid Stations

There are 3 water stations for the half marathon that are on the out and back course (go past each one twice).
1. Portsmouth Olympic Harbour- 4K
2. Lake Ontario Park- 6K
3. Harold Harvey Arena- 9K

ONLY water is available at these stations.

Porta Potties will be available as well at the 6K water station as you exit Lake Ontario Park.
